Plato: Well then I guess I'm YOUR MOM
Plato: *high fives Socrates*
Someone gave me advice today.
It was “To surround myself with people that care as much as I do. And rid myself of the rest.”
Thats exactly what I am going to do. Even if it does involve doing thing that go against what I normally do or act.
I’m not sure if I’m okay with this…
That was a cold slap to the face.
Friend: Marching band isn't a sport.
Me: Ok, so march.
Friend: *Marches*
Me: No, not like that. Your upper body can't move. Roll your feet. Now stop jerking. Now go backwards. Now on your toes. No, stop bouncing. Now jazz run.
Friend: How do you guys do this?
Me: Now do it with an instrument.
Me: Now with a uniform.
Me: Now memorize eight minutes of music.
Me: Now memorize 90 places on the field and how long it takes to get there.
Me: Now make the forms look pretty too.
Me: Now spend 14 hours a week at practice.
Me: Now do it in whatever weather conditions happen to exist at the moment.
Me: Now-
Friend: OK, you win.
